Printing a Document
Printing turns your digital document into a real paper copy. Before you print, you check a preview to make sure everything looks right. A wasted print wastes paper and ink!
Steps to Print a Document

Open your document and save it first (Ctrl + S).2
Press Ctrl + P to open the Print window.3
Check the preview on the right — does it look correct?4
Choose the printer, number of copies, and paper size.5

Useful Printing Terms
Portrait — Page is taller than it is wide (normal position).
Landscape — Page is wider than it is tall (turned sideways).
Copies — How many times to print the document.
Page range — Print all pages or just specific ones (e.g. pages 2–4).

💡 Always press Ctrl + S to save before printing. If the power cuts out mid-print, your file stays safe.
