Number Row
⚙️ Settings
The number row sits two rows above the Home Row — the furthest reach on a standard keyboard. Accuracy here demands a longer finger extension while keeping the remaining fingers anchored on the Home Row. Never lift your entire hand off the keyboard to reach a number; only the required finger extends upward.
Each digit key also has a shifted symbol: 1=!, 2=@, 3=#, 4=$, 5=%, 6=^, 7=&, 8=*, 9=(, 0=). Memorising these pairs unlocks the full symbol set. Number typing is tested separately in government and data-entry exams, so dedicated practice here pays dividends in the real world.

⚓ The Anchor Technique
When reaching for any number, keep all other fingers lightly resting on the Home Row. Only the target finger extends upward. Press the number. Snap back. This anchor technique is what prevents your hand from drifting and losing position after each digit.
⌨️ Number Typing Practice
Three data-heavy passages mix numbers into real contexts — dates, scores, phone numbers, and statistics. This mirrors the actual number-typing you will do in exams and office work.

✅ Key Takeaways
Only one finger extends to the number row at a time; all others stay anchored on the Home Row. Each digit has a shifted symbol partner. Number-row fluency is tested in SSC, IBPS, and data-entry exams — dedicated practice here gives you a real competitive edge.
