Typing Pro WPM Challenge
⚙️ Settings
This is the ultimate speed benchmark in the programme. The Pro WPM Challenge uses the same methodology as TypeRacer, Monkeytype, and professional typing certification exams — complex passage, timed test, full report with gross WPM, net WPM, accuracy, and a star rating. Your score here represents your genuine typing level under pressure.
🏆 WPM Milestones
30 WPM — IBPS minimum. 35 WPM — SSC/RRB minimum. 40 WPM — Court typist standard. 50 WPM — Proficient office typist. 60 WPM — Professional (typing is transparent). 80 WPM — Highly skilled, top 5%. 100+ WPM — Expert, top 1%.
🧠 Deliberate Practice
Deliberate practice means targeting your weakness, not your strength. Every session spent on comfortable texts at comfortable speeds reinforces your current plateau. Deliberate practice means choosing texts 20% above your current WPM, accepting more errors, correcting them, and pushing through the discomfort. This is how the top 1% of typists train.

✅ Key Takeaways
Your Pro WPM score is your genuine level measured under professional conditions. Deliberate practice — targeting discomfort over comfort — is the method the top 1% use. Track monthly not daily to see genuine progress. Set your next target 20% above your current best and pursue it systematically with daily deliberate sessions.
