Adding Slides
A presentation usually needs more than one slide. You add new slides to explain different parts of your topic, one idea at a time. Each slide should hold one main idea.

How to Add a New Slide
- Go to the Home tab
- Click New Slide
- A blank slide appears after your current slide
- Choose a layout that fits your content
Slide Layouts
A layout decides where text and pictures go on a slide. PowerPoint offers ready-made layouts so you don't need to arrange everything yourself.

Reordering Slides
Click and drag a slide thumbnail to a new position in the left panel. The slides will follow this new order during the show.
Deleting a Slide
Right-click the slide thumbnail and select Delete Slide. You can also click the slide and press the Delete key.
