Wi-Fi is the wireless way devices connect to a network. The internet is the giant network of connected computers around the world. A device can use Wi-Fi to reach the internet, but Wi-Fi and the internet are two different things.

How to Connect to Wi-Fi

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon on your device
  2. Choose the network name from the list
  3. Type the Wi-Fi password if asked
  4. Click Connect

Signal Strength

A Wi-Fi icon with more bars means a stronger signal. Standing closer to the router usually gives a stronger, faster connection.
