New Parts You Will Learn in Class 2
You will also learn about some new computer parts. These parts are used to store and share information.
| New Part | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Hard Disk Drive (HDD) | Stores all files and programs permanently |
| RAM | Holds tasks the computer is doing right now |
| USB Drive (Pen Drive) | Carries files from one computer to another |
| Webcam | Takes photos and videos for video calls |
Example: Think of a school bag. The bag holds your books — that is the hard disk. Your hands carry only the books you need right now — those are like RAM. A lunch box you carry to a friend's house is like a USB drive.
