Creating Folders
A folder on a computer works just like a paper folder in real life. You put files inside a folder so you can find them easily later. Without folders, all your files sit in one big messy pile.

Naming a Folder
Give each folder a clear name so you know what is inside. Use short, simple names like Class 2 Maths or My Drawings. Avoid using special symbols like / or * in folder names.
Example: A school library sorts books by subject — Maths, Science, English. You do the same on a computer. Each subject gets its own folder so you find files in seconds.
