Intro to MS Word
Microsoft Word is a word processing program. You use it to write letters, school essays, reports, and any kind of text document. Word is part of the Microsoft Office suite.
Opening MS Word
Click the Start button, type "Word" in the search box, and press Enter. Word opens with a blank page ready for typing. You can also double-click any .docx file to open Word automatically.
The Word Screen

How to Open a New Document
Press Ctrl + N to open a new blank document. Or click File → New → Blank Document. A fresh page opens ready for typing.
